While gambling had issue's with the automated drink server on the machines after 30 minutes I questioned a manager (She told us she was a manager ) She snapped and said it takes 20 minutes for a drink. The drapes must stay closed!! The dresser, and writing table are perched on unfinished wood blocks to make them higher? The room was horrible, it is the room when the casino is at capacity you hold this one off for the very end until you have nothing left. My room #130 ground floor was a real treat, it faced out to the sidewalk side of the hotel where passers by stand higher than you and can see in. I was told at check in they had rooms but the Garden tower premium room was the best brand newly remodeled, I was happy. It was dead apon arrival the casino empty, I thought I might ask for an upgrade seeing it was so slow. I checked in for a two day stay (comped through rewards) March 8th and 9th (a Monday and Tuesday)
I have family in the area and decided to stay at the Rincon so I could get some gambling in and visit family too. As an avid total rewards player and traveling to Vegas for reward programs several times a year I decided to take an offer at the Harrahs rincon in San Diego.
